If you’re an anime fan and you’ve seen SAO. Then the Vision Pro Apple is definitely what you’ve been waiting for. The cool virtual arena that was sketched out by the artists is finally coming to life in today’s generation. Even though gaming consoles and platforms have made VR headsets, the Vision Pro is an amazing piece of technology conjured up by the developers at Apple. The new Vision Pro Apple is under a lot of pressure.

THE VISION PRO APPLE COMPANY’S NEWEST INVENTION. A REAL REVIEW CONSISTING OF ALL THE BENEFITS AND THE FLAWS OF THE TECH.

It is Apple’s first computer that you wear on your face, and it’s been highly anticipated. Apple says the Vision Pro is the start of something called “spatial computing,” which means running apps all around you. They show people wearing the Vision Pro everywhere in their ads: at work, doing chores, playing with their kids. The goal is big: to put apps and info over the real world — to enhance reality. Although, I wouldn’t personally advise to put it on while you’re playing with your kids.

The Vision Pro Apple is something new because other companies have been making face computers for over ten years now. The first Oculus became the Quest line at Meta, and now they’re selling the Quest 3 for $500. It’s a very good VR headset with lots of games and some AR features. While the Vision Pro Apple is for about $4000.

VISION PRO APPLE’S GOAL

Apple insists that Augmented Reality (AR) is seen as more valuable than Virtual Reality (VR) because it enhances the real world with digital information. AR has been in development for a while now, with developers using AR tools on iOS devices and newer iPhones and iPads equipped with lidar depth scanners. The Vision Pro is Apple’s first attempt at making a computer based on these AR ideas. A computer that interacts with the space around you. The goal is for the Vision Pro to be a complete device that works alongside Mac and iPad, allowing you to do real work. You can use productivity apps like Excel, Webex, and Slack on the Vision Pro, and you can also watch movies and TV shows on a large virtual 4K HDR display. Additionally, you can mirror your Mac’s display and use the Vision Pro as a large virtual monitor.

When you buy the Vision Pro Apple, you get two headbands. The solo knit band and the dual loop band. They’re both easy to attach and detach; you simply snap them on and pull the little orange tab to disconnect. The solo band is cooler and doesn’t mess up your hair as much, but they both might cause some hair disturbance. If the dual loop feels more comfortable for you, it’s perfectly fine to use that one instead.

It would’ve been better if the mounting points were on the outside face. That way you could easily pull the band around your head and clip it on, instead of having to pull it over your hair each time. The other two pieces are the light seal, available in different sizes, and the headband, which comes in two thicknesses. You can get fitted for these in the store or by scanning your head with an iPhone if you buy online. Both pieces attach magnetically, so they also detach magnetically.

It’s important to pick up the device by the frame rather than the light seal. If not, you might end up losing $4k in a very short amount of time. The speakers of the Vision Pro Apple are located in the arms on the sides, and they produce clear and loud sound, creating a convincing spatial audio experience. This means that sounds seem to come from where they appear to be happening, which is pretty cool. However, the speakers also tend to leak sound, so people around you can hear what you’re doing unless you use headphones. You can connect any Bluetooth headphones you prefer, but if you use the latest AirPods Pro, you’ll get some additional features like lower latency, high-quality audio, and Apple’s Adaptive Audio system, which adjusts the sound based on your surroundings.

FEATURES OF THE VISION PRO APPLE

Getting down to the details, the Vision Pro Apple has this home interface where all your apps are present. You can place these apps according to your preference all around your home. For example, your “to-do list” on the fridge, a cooking app in the kitchen, apple TV in the lounge or YouTube in your bedroom. It all fits in perfectly according to your preferences and needs.

The Vision Pro Apple also gives you a virtual keyboard which you use to type. If you’re a glasses geek like me, then no worries. You can use the custom Zeiss lens insert. That or you could just wear contacts while using the Vision Pro. You can also change your scenery according to your wishes. While sitting on the couch in your lounge, you can make the scene change into one of a beach or an opera house. The choice is simply yours. It gives you a truly immersive experience. The apps and windows can be zoomed in and increased or decreased in size. For example, you can have the video that you’re watching, cover your entire wall.

The displays on the Vision Pro Apple look really amazing. They’re sharp, so you can easily read text, and they’re bright enough to make movies look great. Apple adjusts the colors at the factory, so they’re vibrant and show colors accurately without looking too bright or fake. Even though the screens are small, they work really well, so they seem big. The displays are the main reason why the Vision Pro costs a lot. They’re the most important part of the Vision Pro and what makes it all work. Since you’re always looking at them, they’re super important. But even though they’re really good, they have some downsides when used on a device like this.

CRITICISMS ON THE VISION PRO APPLE

Diving even deeper into the Vision Pro Apple, we now look into the holes and flaws of the product. As much as the Vision Pro Apple is a great piece of technology, it also has its flaws. One of the biggest factors is its weight. The headset alone – without the light bands weigh even more than an iPad. With all these apps and widgets fitting into the headset, it is too heavy to put on your face for more than 30 minutes. Even if you use it for less than 45 minutes, you’ll end up getting some kind of a remnant mark on your nose after use. In short, it is uncomfortable to wear.

Then we come to the amazingly disappointing battery life of the headset. You need to have it connected to a battery bank while using it because it discharges too quickly. Like imagine having one cable connected around you only to connect one more. Apple really needs to get its game up in regards to the battery life of its products. The product also lets you have an account. However, you can only have up to one account on the headset, not more than that. This makes the Vision Pro Apple unable to be shared. The audio output is also lacking. A person sitting next to you can easily listen to whatever you’re watching if the volume is above 50%.

Another feature you come to realize unfavorable is the headbands. The head bands attach to the headset through means of a magnet. This is a drawback as you never know when they might detach. Even if there’s a whole strap to fix it in place, the probability of you forgetting about the magnetic connection is high. And you might picking up the Vision Pro by the headbands and well… you just might break it. The thing is that many people HAVE actually done that and accidentally dropped their headsets several times. I bet they were screaming internally. The problem is that cameras and displays work differently. Cameras have a thing called motion blur, where things might look a bit blurry when there’s movement.

In low light, cameras have to either take longer to capture the image, which can make things less clear, or they have to use higher sensitivity settings, which can make the picture look grainy. Then, they have to reduce that graininess, which can make things look less sharp and colorful. The Vision Pro can’t change how cameras and displays work. When you move your head with the Vision Pro, you can see some motion blur, especially in low light. This can make straight lines look a bit wobbly. In low light, the video might also look less sharp overall because of the noise reduction, like how my iPhone screen looked blurrier when it got dark outside.

The Vision Pro Apple is an amazing product. It’s the kind of device that only Apple could create for a first-generation product. They’ve done an incredible job with the display, the way it lets you see through it, and how well it works with the whole Apple ecosystem. They’ve even managed to make people overlook the issue with the external battery. It feels like Apple made the Vision Pro just to show off their skills and capabilities. They tackled the toughest challenges they could think of and engineered the product brilliantly, thanks to their talent and resources. Even though it has a lot of flaws along with tits benefits. Those can be easily solved with the next updated and improved sets.
