Reviews:
The Honor Pad 8 has just been introduced for the European market at IFA 2022. We have it here for a speedy hands-on demonstration and a rundown of its most important features. The screen of the tablet has a resolution of 1200 x 2000 pixels and a 5:3 aspect ratio, despite the fact that its name is “Pad 8”. It is a huge 12-inch IPS LCD screen. Because of this, the Pad 8 is an excellent piece of hardware for simultaneously consuming multiple forms of media and performing multiple tasks. Given the unconventional aspect ratio, using the tablet in portrait mode does feel a little bit strange.
Our test device is of the Blue colorway. It is a dark color that shows a lot of fingerprints due to its glossy finish. A set of speakers can be found on either side of the display. Moreover, it has a USB-C cable that can be used for both charging and transferring data. The power and volume buttons are located on the upper half of the device. A 22.5-watt charger and a USB-A to USB-C connection are included in the retail packaging. Additionally, Honor is providing a keyboard accessory as a paid add-on that can facilitate various forms of productivity.
More Reviews about Honor Pad 8:
The streamlined aluminum construction of the Pad 8 gives it an upscale appearance as well as a quality feel. In addition to this, it only weighs 520 grams and has a thickness of 6.9 millimeters. Magic UI 6.1, which is based on Android 12, serves as the user interface for the program. There are several cool multitasking features, such as an app drawer with floating windows and a simple toggle for switching between apps. In addition, the dock can save a maximum of four recently utilized applications. Mirroring the display of an Honor smartphone that is compatible with the tablet is also possible.
