Lions: Week 12 Observations from Tim And Mike

The Lions successful plays against the Bills built up to victories, but they also conceded some scores that ultimately cost them. The Lions were prevented from scoring what seemed to be a certain three points by a field goal that Michael Badgley missed from 29 yards out. Additionally, in the third quarter, quarterback Jared Goff was sacked in the end zone for a safety, earning the Bills two points.

NICE START
When Julian Okwara suffered an elbow injury and had to leave Thursday’s game against Buffalo, the Lions were already struggling along their defensive line. Moreover, Rookie sixth-round selection James Houston filled in admirably. Houston, who had been promoted the day before from the practice squad. This ended with two sacks and an important fumble recovery. Timothy Twentyman
HOLIDAY FESTIVITIES:
Houston’s parents came to town to see him perform. He performed for them. To honor his first two sacks, Houston suggested he might keep the game shirt he wore on Thursday. Michael O’Hara
TOUCHDOWN APPARATUS:
Jamaal Williams of the Lions scored his 13th touchdown of the year to lead the NFL in scoring. In his prior five seasons, from 2017 to 2021, Williams scored a total of 13 touchdowns. Timothy Twentyman.
LARGE PLAY:
Stefon Diggs, a wide receiver with the Bills, delivered one of the game’s greatest plays just when it was a need. With seven catches on 14 targets for 41 yards, the Lions contained him. Moreover, The Bills were in a good spot to make the game-winning field goal thanks to his eighth grab on his 15th target. Which garnered 36 yards. Michael O’Hara
TIME MANAGEMENT:
The way Campbell and the Lions’ offense managed the clock after the first half didn’t win me over. I believe that Buffalo was not require to utilize timeouts because there was too much time left on the clock. When it wasn’t necessary, they ran two additional plays before the two-minute warning. With 1:55 remaining in the half, they managed to score, and Buffalo was able to go down and kick a field goal.
Furthermore, Some people questioned the Lions’ use of the clock toward the conclusion of the game. But I was fine with it. Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Bills, was given as little time as possible, but it turn out that 23 seconds was still too much. Timothy Twentyman.
