Usually, we satisfy our client with front-end settings on WordPress but fail to customize the dashboard setting according to client demand. Improve Your Login Page by Adding a Logo

When your clients log in to their WordPress, the first page your client sees is the “login page”. Generally, we see no such fault in WordPress login, yet it can be improved. Firstly, we add a “custom logo” to this page. Secondly, we can add background images to the page. you may manually change the login. In this process, CSS styles of  WordPress header files change. It then is replaced by your site-logon-logo.png with your chosen logo file name. The general tool used for this purpose is “LoginPress Plugin”. This may not take much time but it gives a better impression of your website to its client.

Change the styling of the Dashboard

Generally, while designing a website, we focus too much on the appearance of the front-end of our WordPress. We usually ignore the back-end themes of our dashboard especially. This makes our client unable to get a good impression from the beginning. When you solve the problem of the login page of WordPress, it is time to work for the betterment of your dashboard. You usually can eliminate this issue by using an admin theme. It helps in styling your dashboard. The most common plugin we use for this purpose is “Ultimate Dashboard”. This plugin is available in both free and premium versions. You use this plugin, to add your CSS stylesheet. Then your default admin setting gets overridden.

Go to the Users then All Users

Then you see Edit Link under user for whom you want the customization of your dashboard.

Click it.

A page is opened, where you see eight-color scheme.

You may now select any one of your favorite colors.

Then click on update user, which you see at the bottom of this page.

Provide links of helpful resources to your client/ Creating Custom Widgets

A client who is a beginner in WordPress often gets confused even on dashboard settings. Although over time they learn to handle these things, it is better if you facilitate your client’s helpful resources. Such resources and documentation should be approachable by your client

The first easy way for you is to add a welcome message which might have links with the helpful resources.
