Sleep is the most blissful thing that a person can enjoy. Studies say that a person might get mentally ill if he doesn’t have sleeping time at all. This shows how sleeping is important for the physical and mental health of a person. Sleeping does soo much good things with your body that you can’t count. It repairs your brain and body muscles. Sleeping makes you burn calories. It is a start towards a healthy and fit life. Sleeping is associated with dreaming. It also makes your memory processing easy. A healthy sleeping time is about 7-8 hours a day. Sometimes, people face difficulty in going to sleep. They might feel sleepy but face difficulty in initiating it. On the other hand, there are few people who sleep so much that it disturbs their normal functioning of life. These are what we call sleep disorders.

There are plenty of disorders that can be categorized under difficulty of sleeping. These are about over sleeping or not sleeping at all. Let’s discuss these interesting disorders:

Narcolepsy:

It is a disorder where a person falls asleep while sitting or talking. He faces sleep jerks. This condition is not under their control. They can’t control their urge to asleep no matter how many people are around. This condition occur all of the sudden.

Parasomnia:

This is a sleep condition where a person sleeps so much and also performs some of the activities while sleeping. These activities can be talking, walking, snoaring etc. These are the most dangerous people. They can murder a person during this condition. A person can also have nightmares that make them to wakeup immediately.

Insomnia:

This sleep disorder is the most common which doesn’t allow a person to sleep at all. The person might be sleeping for just 5-10 minutes but can’t hold their sleep for too long.

Sleep Apnea:

Sometimes while sleeping, you might feel shortness of breath that makes you to wakeup immediately with coughing. This is sleep apnea. The person might feel that his breathing passage has blocked or narrowed. Patient might feel like chocking.

Restless Leg Syndrome:

It is an unconscious need of moving legs while sleeping. Patient might experience pain in their legs which is not in reality.

Resolving Sleep Issues:

There are varieties of thing that a person can avoid to have a good and long sleep. These are as follows:

Avoid caffeine:

Tea and coffee both are rich in caffeine. It activates the brain that disable you to sleep well. Avoid caffeine for at least 2 hours before sleep.

Overthinking:

Overthinking is another reason that creates difficulty in sleeping. Overthinking destroys your sleeping hormones. when your sleeping hormones get disturb, you might not sleep properly which then induces your appetite hormone. This makes you to feel hungry all the time, hence, you start over eating and gain weight. So, for a good sleep, try not to over think on silly things.

Exercise:

No doubt, Exercise makes you feel relax and sleepy but this is only for a limited time. You might feel sleepy while doing exercise but you can’t sleep properly. Try to avoid exercise at least 3-4 hours before sleeping.

Gadgets:

Never use mobile phones while getting yourself ready to sleep. You can’t initiate a good sleeping while using these gadgets.

Skip the daily Nap:

Taking a daily nap of one hour after lunch can also disturb your night sleeping pattern. Try to avoid it.

Conclusion:

Whatever difficulty you might feel about sleep, there is always a solution to it. Try to analyze and resolve for a better sleeping pattern. Stress is also a leading cause of above disorders.
