In a black high-low gown from House of Mua Mua with tiers of cascading ruffles, the 37-year-old looked magnificent for her first Grammys performance in 19 years. She completed her ensemble with a personalized belt that read “Love Sux,” a reference to her most recent album. Lavigne was accompanied by her one-year boyfriend, fellow singer Mod Sun, 34, to the Grammy Awards.

The then-18-year-old made a statement on the red carpet by wearing her signature Converse sneakers, a bow tie, and an oversized tuxedo jacket with a concealed “Rock On” written on the inside while attending the 45th Grammy Awards.
