A heavy dinner is the most dangerous thing if a person have it on daily basis. It is even more dangerous than a fake friend. This trend has increased so much. By dinner, I mean the time of eating 3-4 hours before going to bed. The past years were very good. Now, We can see people going for outings mostly at night and return home after having a good family dinner. Do you really thing that the food they serve is healthy? No, not at all. But, the focus is on having heavy dinner whether its from a restaurant or cooked in your own homes. A heavy dinner is always unhealthy if you eat it more often. Sadly, people love to eat heavy food at night and prefer to skip their breakfast which is the best time to eat something heavy that gives energy for the whole day and is easily digestible. There is a famous phrase that we all are familiar with , which says ‘Have Breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Parson and Dinner like a Beggar.’ So now, Did you get my point? I hope you did.

Heavy dinners have plenty of health hazard side effects that you can’t deny and should take care of it. For example:
Slow Digestion:
Heavy late night dinners don’t allow your body to digest the food. The food remains undigested in your body. This causes many serious stomach problems. When you experience slow digestion, acidity results.

Heavy dinner also causes nausea. This is an uncomfortable feeling that make you to feel that the food is going to come out of your mouth anytime. This feeling than doesn’t allow you to eat anything else for hours.
Weight Gain:
Dinner is always associated with weight gain problems. You gain the most weight just by fueling this habit because instead of burning calories, you get to have more. This is also because of slow metabolism.
Cardiac Problems:
Dinners are also associated with having heart problems more often if you continue this habit for a long time.

Time Management:
By time management we mean that there should be a three to four hours gap between your last meal and your bedtime. This gives your body a good time to digest your food and make your self feel light and fresh the next morning.

If you are a fitness freak, you will surely have a good digestive system. So, you don’t have to worry about your food digestion, your physical activity has lot to ease this process. Try to add these activities for example exercises, long walks and jogging to your routine if you can’t avoid heavy meals and your late night cravings.
Plenty of Water:
Consuming more water will compress your appetite. This will help you to minimize your over eating at night. So, its good to have more glasses of water, instead of having heavy meals.
