In the daytime television series All My Children, the stage and film star made history by portraying one of the very first trans characters. Susan Hart, a close friend and coworker, revealed the news of Jeffrey Carlson passing on July 6.

At the age of 48, actor Jeffrey Carlson passed away.

Being bestowing with the first name “Jeffrey” by his mother, a lover of the All My Children character Jeff Martin. Prophesied Carlson’s career in acting even before he was born in 1975. She also develops feelings for Bianca, a lesbian heroine. Throughout the television series, Zoe’s journey was depicting as she attends support group meetings. Also saw an endocrinologist for healthcare that was gender affirming.

In contrast to many early examples of transgender representation on television. Zoe is saying to be the first transgender person on daytime television to come out and embark on a transition path. In contrast, many other early examples of transgender representation on television involved characters who were already out or having already start their journey. Because of Zoe’s plot and Carlson’s portrayal. All My Children won a GLAAD Media Award in 2007 for Outstanding Daily Drama.
