Pakistani Media has taken a Wrong Turn
Old is gold:
Pakistani media has lost its Golden time. There was a time when the drama and movie industry of Pakistan was not very versatile. It lacked the good ideas that it’s showing today. It evolved from black and white screens to colorful one and now its too much colorful that it’s destroying the nation with too much exposure.
Pakistani Media has taken a Wrong Turn
In our old times, Pakistani dramas had good lessons to teach. There was a story of love between mother and son, between brother and sister and also a few of them were between two people that love each other intensely. Other than all this, if we take a deep insight into today’s era, what do you notice? Do you find them appropriate to watch with your young kids? What do dramas convey these days? That’s all love, extremeness of love. Are we left with all of this to show?
Promoting Vulgarity:
The theme of today’s Pakistani drama industry moves around two to three people who love each other and want to steel her or him from another boy or girl. Why? Do we want to educate our young generation like this?
Let’s take a flashback to the past, how pure those scenes were. There was a gap between two actors of opposite gender but now, what you see? Is there something like the past? A disclaimer will always appear ‘Smoking Is Injurious To Health’ but there will be no disclaimer for all other nonreligious things. Have we forgotten the Judgement Day? We have blocked our eyes, mouth and ears.
Different religious personalities do block tiktok for spreading vulgarity but sorry to say, our dramas are spreading the same thing too.
Bold Dialogues:
Having bold dialogues in the script, has become another rising trend. They can’t be heard in front of kids. Sadly, We have set this as a trending symbol. This needs to get banned.
Spreading Inferiority Complex:
Pakistani dramas and morning shows are also responsible for spreading inferiority complex in middle class people. showing houses of elite class people in the dramas, makes poor people to think inferior.
They develop the feeling of being less fortunate. Exhibiting expensive clothes, on Morning shows, also promote feelings of inferiority.
Conclusion:
Other than bad ones, there are also some healthy and moral-full dramas that need to be promoted other than these bold ones. These dramas should be made in Islamic limits that can be seen in front of the whole family. In a nutshell, if something is good, it has a bad side too. Its totally up to us whether we promote the good side or the bad one.
