ABOUT VALORANT

Valorant is a free-to-play first-person shooter (FPS) game developed and published by Riot Games. It was officially announced with a gameplay reveal trailer in March 2020. Later it was released on June 2, 2020. The game quickly gained attention due to its combination of tactical gameplay elements, unique character abilities, and competitive focus.

GAMEPLAY OF VALORANT

Valorant is a tactical shooter that emphasizes precise aim, strategic thinking, and teamwork. Players engage in 5v5 matches, where one team plays as attackers attempting to plant a bomb called the Spike. While the other team plays as defenders (the “Defenders”) trying to prevent the Spike from detonating

One of Valorant’s defining features is its roster of agents, each with their own unique abilities. Agents are divided into four classes: Duelists, Initiators, Controllers, and Sentinels. Each agent has signature abilities, a unique ultimate ability that charges over time. By completing objectives, and a set of purchasable abilities that can be bought during rounds using in-game currency.

Valorant features an economy system where players earn credits by completing objectives, winning rounds, and eliminating opponents. These credits can be used to purchase weapons, shields, and abilities at the beginning of each round. The game offers a variety of weapons, including rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, submachine guns, and pistols. Valorant’s gunplay emphasizes precision and recoil control, rewarding players with accurate aim. Maps in Valorant are designed with strategic gameplay in mind, featuring multiple bomb sites, chokepoints, and alternative pathways. Players must utilize map knowledge and teamwork to secure objectives and outmaneuver opponents.

COMPETITIVE SCENE:

Valorant has a thriving competitive scene, with Riot Games supporting organized tournaments and events at both regional and international levels. The game features a ranked mode where players can climb through various tiers, from Iron to Radiant, by winning matches and earning ranking points. Riot Games regularly updates the game with balance changes and new content to keep the competitive scene dynamic and engaging.

COMMUNITY AND ESPORTS:

Valorant has garnered a dedicated community of players and content creators, with a strong presence on platforms like Twitch and YouTube. The game’s emphasis on strategy, teamwork, and individual skill has made it popular among both casual and competitive gamers. Additionally, Valorant has a robust esports scene, with Riot Games hosting events like the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) to showcase top-tier competitive play and provide opportunities for aspiring professional players.

DEVELOPMENT AND UPDATES:

Riot Games continues to support and update Valorant with new content, features, and balance changes. The development team regularly releases new agents, maps, skins, and game modes to keep the experience fresh for players. Community feedback plays a significant role in shaping the game’s direction, with Riot Games actively engaging with players through forums, social media, and in-game surveys.

Valorant offers a compelling blend of tactical gameplay, unique character abilities, and competitive depth that has resonated with players worldwide. Its strategic focus, combined with Riot Games’ commitment to ongoing support and development, positions Valorant as a prominent title in the FPS genre for years to come.

LEAST LIKED VALORANT SKINS

With all that info aside, we will now discuss the most hated Valorant skins.

The Smite Collection:

The smite collection is a bundle of Valorant skins. It contains a melee, a classic,a judge, a phantom and an odin. The design is pretty simple with the blue shades in an ombre and an electric bolt across the gun. However, it lacks the charm and attractiveness. It’s too basic with literally no appeal. It’s a deluxe edition of Valorant skins costing around 3500 VP which is not even worth wasting money on. It has no sfx, vfx nor any finisher. It also has no color variants. Even with it’s colour and appearance, it still seems to be dull in the eyes of the players enough to hate it.

The Silvanus Collection:

With Valorant skins usually being attractive and cool, the Silvanus collections is indeed not in that category. The Silvanus Collection is one of the 3D Valorant skins collection. Let’s be honest, Riot isn’t the best with 3D skins at all. The Silvanus collections too has a blue color. A whole winter wonderland theme going on. However, the 3D moving scene is no that appealing. It’s more like underwhelming than overwhelming. The category for the skin is Deluxe costing around 3500 VP. There is no SFX, VFS nor any finisher.

The Spline Collection:

Yes, you know it. The Spline collection. I’m sure you hate this particular set of Valorant skins just as much as I do. Don’t get me even started on this one. What were the game designers thinking? This particular collection stands at the top of the tower for being the worst skin to ever exist.  Moreover, Taking the top spot at #1 is the Spline collection. It looks like something straight out of a grim virus outbreak or a sci-fi flick set on an alien planet, and let’s just say, it’s not winning any beauty contests.

Priced at a premium of 1775 VP each, this skin doesn’t come with any fancy extras like animations, sound effects, or cool kill banners. Nope, all you get is an ugly skin with even uglier color variations. While some skins on this list might have been called boring, the Spline Collection takes the cake for being downright atrocious to look at, making it hands down the worst skin to ever hit Valorant so far.

The Nebula Collection

We have yet another one of Valorant skins 3D collection. The one that kicked off the 3D skin trend is the Nebula collection. Furthermore, It’s got this cool 3D effect going on, which seems pretty unique at first. But here’s the catch: this skin doesn’t come with any animations, sound effects, or flashy finishers, yet it still hits you with the full price tag of a Premium skin. That’s why it’s snagged the 7th spot on our list of the worst skins. The skin line costs around 1750 VP each gun. It consists of a sheriff, a judge, a guardian, a phantom and of course, a melee. It consists of no sfx, no vfx, nor any finisher. So much for a Premium skin.

The Avalanche Collection:

I have nothing much to say about the Avalanche Collection of Valorant skins. It’s just like the other winter themed blue skins. Just some shades of blue with a few patterns. Pretty basic and just an overall lazy design. It has no melee but consists of a classic, a spectre, a guardian, a vandal and a marshal.  It’s a deluxe edition ski with each costing around 1250 VP. No finisher, sfx or vfx as always. The unattractive design and dull form just makes it one of the least liked valorant skins.

Of course there are a lot more that you would like to mention and everybody has their own preferences.

Valorant skins have lot more content for you to read.
