Michael Irvin , a member of the Professional Football Hall of Fame, has been dropped from the NFL Network’s Super Bowl coverage for the remainder of the week after a lady complained about his behavior during a hotel visit in Glendale, Arizona.

According to The Dallas Morning News, the claimed encounter took place on Saturday afternoon in the hotel lobby. In a response to The Washington Post as well as the Morning News, NFL Network director Alex Riethmiller confirms that Michael Irvin “will not be participating of NFL Network’s Championship Game LVII week coverage.” The status of Irvin with the network after this week is not famous, according to the publication, and Riethmiller did not provide any further details.

 The Post said that Irvin’s schedule Friday appearance on ESPN’s “First Take” program was also postpones.

Irvin, 56, whose been recognizing by the Hall of Fame of Professional Football in 2007 and spoke to the Morning News about the meeting, says it was brief, visible, and largely non-physical. According to the publication, he also said that before they separated, he shook the woman’s hand.

After having dinner and beverages with legendary Dallas safety Michael Brooks, Irvin claims the Morning News that he go back to the hotel. He claimed he started talking to a woman while in the foyer.

Irvin’s contact with the woman has not been discussed in public, as per Sports Illustrated.

According to USA Today, Irvin was interviewing people for Nbc Sports on Super Bowl Premiere Night on Monday.

According to the Morning News, a spokesperson for the Glendale Police Department and representatives from other regional law enforcement organizations denied knowing about any incident involving Irvin.

What statute did I violate? Irvin disclosed to the media. Definitely nothing physical occurred. Sincerely, that is all that occurred. My room was empty. We spoke for 45 seconds in the lobby before shaking hands and leaving. I’m not sure. I have no idea what it is, and it drives me mad.
