Annie Worthing the ’24’ Actress Died at the Age of 45

Actress Annie Worthing died of cancer early Sunday morning, her publicist Craig Schneider told CNN. Welsing was 45 years old.

Wersching’s husband, Stephen Full, released the following statement to CNN: “Today there is a huge hole in this family’s soul. But she left us with the tools to fill it. She found miracles in the simplest of moments. Furthermore, She didn’t need music to dance. She taught me not to wait for the adventure to find me. “Go and find it. It’s everywhere. ‘And we will find it,'” he wrote.

Wersching also provided her voice for Tess in the video game The Last of Us. Neil Druckmann, the creative director of the new HBO Max series based on the game, The Last of Us, tweeted about Wessing’s death. “I just learned of the passing of my dear friend Annie Worthing. We have lost an amazing artist and a person. My heart is broken. My thoughts are with the loved one.”  GoFundMe was founded by “The Handmaid’s Tale” actress Ever Carradine to support Annie’s children and her husband.

Wersching made regular appearances in TV dramas during that time and into the 2010s. In 2007, she played Amelia in her ABC soap opera General Hospital. Her breakthrough came in 2008 when she played FBI agent Lenny Walker on the hit Fox show 24. Welsing’s other notable television appearances include her role as the lover of Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) on the 2014 Amazon Prime series Bosch and the villainous vampire Lily Salvatore on the CW series The Vampire Diaries. When she played the Queen of the Borg in her 2022 “Star Trek Her Picard,” Welsing frequently shared photos of herself in her costume, portraying her as an intergalactic villain. Her makeup artist and prosthetics artist accompanied her message of gratitude. Welsing’s role in Star Trek Picard, which airs on Paramount+, is listed as one of the actresses’ last professional credits on IMDb.

Welsing’s husband ended her Sunday statement with a moving memory. As she drove “our sons, the true lovers of her life, down winding driveways and roads, she yelled ‘goodbye!’ Until we leave our ears and go out into the world.
