ADIDAS
It is basically a multinational German corporation which designs shoes, accessories and clothing articles. Its logo is style as adidas since 1949. Headquarters of Adidas are in Bavaria. In Europe, It is one of the biggest manufacturers of the sportswear. And it is ranked on 2nd number in all around the world for manufacturers of the sportswear. Number 1 manufacturers of the sportswear in the world are Nike, a well-known brand. The revenue of Adidas company in 2018 is calculating as 21,915 billion euros approx.
SOME BASIC HISTORY:
The owner started this company from a small house which is of his mother, later in year 1924, his brother Rudolf join his venture. Dassler represented his shoes in many athletic events. He insisted the spinster of U.S. to use his foot wears. Furthermore, Both brothers started this company under one name which is “Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory”. But later in year 1949, under a dispute both brothers parted their ways. And Adolf established Adidas and Rudolf created Puma. Both companies now-a-days have their own identity. Both have their huge fan following and due to quality, both are high in it and Puma became the rival of the Adidas.
IDENTITY MARKS OF THE BOTH COMPANIES:
The identity mark is Three Stripes, which is using for the company aid and printing on clothes and as well as on shoes. Moreover, Dassler describes his company the Three Stripe company. On the other hand, Puma’s identity mark is Puma Tiger. They are basically mountain cats, Rudolf making them as his company identity.
